What is this?
Reader Aura generates a fun analysis of your reading personality based on your Goodreads profile.
What data do you collect?
We only scrape publicly available data from your Goodreads profile, and no identifying data is ever sent to third parties. You can see exactly what we collect in our codebase.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your data is anonymized before being sent to an AI model (via Vertex SDK), so Google never receives identifying information. We never sell or share your data with third parties. Data is stored solely to display your results.
Do I need to create an account?
Nope! Just submit your profile URL above to begin for free.
What if my profile is private?
We can only read publicly accessible data. If your profile, shelves, or activity are private, the analysis may be incomplete or less accurate. For best results, ensure your profile has public activity and shelves.
Can I update my analysis?
Yes! You can resubmit your profile anytime. Your results page will show the newest analysis and averaged data. Although frequent submissions will trigger rate limiting to prevent abuse.
